I believe that not even any members of the band have a copy of this cassette. I haven't talked to any of them in years. Denise gave me this tape because she thought it was funny that I even wanted to hear it. She told me that she had the only copy, which was given to her by John @ Jello Tree. I don't know when KAGU broadcast this, but I would guess it was in 1994 sometime.
I did my best to title these, but there was no track listing. If anyone knows the correct names or any info about the songs marked with this: (?) please let me know. :)
Dubbed from the cassette mentioned.

I dont even have a copy of that!
ReplyDeleteI told KAGU I woudnt reproduce copys, so I
must have given her mine, which would be the only copy, meant to be a backup to the one sent to the radio station.

We were supposed to broadcast a show a week, I think that was the deal, but it didn't work out that way. This was yes, 1994 or so. The idea didn't last long because no-one at the station was into it really, most of the DJs preferred like Dave Matthews band and were unhappy at having to play this sorta thing.
ReplyDeleteHi John! Nice to hear from you! I had several friends who put things out on your awesome little label back then. If you don't want any of these recordings posted for any reason just ask and I'll gladly and promptly remove them. I put these things up purely to share the love!
ReplyDeleteHolly Wow! I have been looking for this stuff for years! I hope you guys are doing well! Please let me know how I can get a copy of the wrecking sessions and I will try to remember those song names. Thanks and glad to see you all are still kickkin! Jason AKA Skinney
ReplyDeleteOops. I've re-upped this tape. There is a new link in the post itself. Enjoy!
